RECENT HISTORY
March 20 – October 8, 2004: End-to-end "Thruhike" of the Appalachian Trail, over 2000 miles from Georgia to Maine, completed on foot.
August 2005: Launched successful media campaign with 500-mile "Suicide Prevention Hot Hike" of Colorado to Hunter S. Thompson's memorial.
January 2006: Published Dead Men Hike No Trails, a 400-page philosophical memoir addressing suicide, depression & long-distance hiking.
